Amplify was approached by PepsiCo to find a new innovative way of engaging their young audience and enhancing the Pepsi brand, perception and loyalty. The engagement would be for part of the Pepsi interactive digital campaign “Live For Now” and would run across various Countries in the Middle East.
Amplify devised a strategy to create Pepsi interactive digital campaign roadshow across seven Countries in the Middle East. The roadshow would target a huge number of consumers in popular shopping destinations. The Pepsi interactive engagement roadshow, was hosted in busy shopping malls in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. Taking place on busy weekends, the campaign saw a record number of consumer engagement and interaction.
By combining the very latest Gesture Technology and Augmented Reality with green screen, we created an environment in which the user could become a football star, a singer, walk the red carpet or surf the waves. Their ‘performance’ was beamed on a massive, seamless 103″ plasma screen, recorded and sent directly to their email address. The users could then replay the video and spread the Pepsi message to friends through social media channels, such as facebook.
