THE PROBLEM

Stada Pharmaceutical approached Amplify Marketing to develop a 360-degree strategy to launch their muscle and pain relief Radian product range into the Middle Eastern market.

THE SOLUTION

Amplify conducted the 5D Methodology to identify the brands’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. We developed a 360-degree marketing strategy to increase awareness, engagement, education and drive sales.
Amplify identified during the Discovery phase that customers needed educating on when to use the heat (before exercise) and ice (after exercise) products. The Discovery phase highlighted that the dated packaging did not appeal to the younger, fitness audience that Radian wished to target. As the packaging can not be changed, Amplify developed a key visual that modernised the brand and increased the desire to use.
Amplify created content, manage and publish Radian social media content across the Middle East. We utilized the Instagram grid to educate on how and when to use the products.
We designed and developed a localised UAE website to A/B test to the markets different audiences.
Amplify have created 3D models of the Radian products, as well as in-store merchandising POS.
We developed the concept for Radian’s beach hut sponsorship of the 2019 Dubai Fitness Challenge with a pre-workout area for warm-up (Radian Heat) and a post-workout area (Radian Ice). To encourage people to engage with the brand and reward them for doing so, Amplify created a spin the wheel game to allow participants to win prizes.
Amplify organised and managed the sponsorship of the Radian Dragon’s Football club, who compete weekly in the Dubai Amateur Football League. The players wear Radian sponsored kit and receive Radian products, in exchange for social media user-generated content.

THE RESULTS

The Radian Arabia Facebook page has grown to over 76,000-page likes, generated a 60% increase in page impressions and received a 158% increase in post likes. The Instagram page has achieved over 1 million impressions in the first 4 months and over 13,000 profile views.

Sambazon Launch in the Middle East

Sambazon Launch in the Middle East

THE PROBLEM

Amplify officially launched the global Açaí brand Sambazon into the UAE market, by organising and managing a press, influencer and blogger launch event in the region.

THE SOLUTION

Amplify sourced the most ‘Instagrammable’ location in Dubai, Tania’s Teahouse, as the venue for the event. We invited Press, Influencers, Bloggers, Nutritionists and Dieticians from across the region to attend. Guests were welcomed to take part in an exclusive Açaí Masterclass with none other than the Açaí legends from Projeto Açaí.
After an introduction to the brand, we held a trivia quiz for guests to test their Açaí knowledge and win some Sambazon prizes! Since the launch of the brand, Amplify manage the local Sambazon Middle East Facebook and Instagram pages in the Middle East, with the aim to establish and increase brand and product awareness campaign in the new region. We recommended publishing 70% globalised content, adapting and arabising it to the local audience and publishing 30% localised content.
Amplify ran a localised Ramadan campaign with innovative, delicious and unique recipe ideas using the Sambazon Superfruit products, designed for Iftar and Suhoor. We developed a multi-layered influencer strategy to excite and engage audiences. Local micro-influencers were identified monthly to receive Sambazon Superfruit packs and goodies to share their own spin on the brand, its values and recipe ideas. In September 2019, Amplify was commissioned to produce and manage the brand and product launch event at New York University Abu Dhabi. The event aimed to educate students and the community on the Sambazon brand story, the delicious and nutritious powers of Açaí and where to purchase.

Amplify created a teaser social media campaign targeted to the students and announced the launch on the Sambazon social media accounts.

The main focus was to educate on sustainability and saving the environment and how students can make their everyday lives and campus life more environmentally friendly. At the event, the students were welcomed to upload a picture of their Açaí bowl using the hashtag #NYADSambazon stating what they do to be environmentally friendly. At the event, Amplify introduced the celebrity TV chef and public figure Manal Alalem to the brand who shared the brand with her 2.1 million Instagram followers. Amplify has now created a long-term relationship with Manal and regularly work with Sambazon to create content in exchange for social media content.

THE RESULTS

17 influencers and editors attended the brand launch event. The event garnered over 55 original Açaí bowl Instagram posts. Amplify ensured Sambazon Middle East was tagged in every post from the event.

THE PROBLEM

Victoria Secret PINK! approached Amplify to help increase customer spend in-store, boost engagement and create a memorable seasonal event at Dubai Festival City Mall.

THE SOLUTION

Amplify created a ’12 Days of Gifting’ interactive game. Customers were required to spend a certain amount in-store and were rewarded, by getting a chance to select a door to open on the interactive advent calendar. Amplify packed the retail event full of fun games and experiences such as glitter face art, lucky dips and doughnut walls.

THE SOLUTION

EVENTS & ACTIVATIONS

Amplify organised, managed and hosted beach activation events in Dubai at high footfall areas such as Kite Beach and Jumeirah Beach Residence. We designed a custom wrap for a Volkswagen camper van, which hosted a live DJ set to generate a buzz at the event.

Ladival educated Dubai residents and tourists on the dangers of UV rays via UV cameras that can detect existing sun damage and areas sunscreen may have been missed. User-generated content helped to increase awareness and build brand ambassadors from the event, the content was aggregated via TINT UP and displayed at the event and on the website. An interactive ‘Spin the Wheel’ game was used to encourage beachgoers to engage with the activation and reward them for doing so.

With a limited budget and in just 2 months of launch, Amplify generated over 1,350,000 impressions on the Google Display Network, leading to 5,590 website clicks.
