What a year 2020 has been so far! This year will be remembered in history for the unprecedented events of a global pandemic. It meant for the first time in our history we had to implement full-time remote working for our team, ensuring the situation did not affect our ability to deliver projects and we were able to support our clients at a time when they needed us the most. 

Time away from the office gave us an opportunity to reflect on the past twelve years, how much we have grown as individuals and as a team and how marketing and the digital landscape have changed significantly (even more so than ever in 2020). Our key objective was to make sure that when we returned back to the office, we came back with a bang! Prior to the lockdown, we had moved to a studio in the heart of Dubai Marina / JLT with beautiful panoramic views of the city including the prestigious 7* Hotel, Burj Al Arab. We had originally planned to mark the occasion with a brand refresh to communicate some of our new services, recent projects, and 12 years of success in the market, so used this time as a great opportunity to reflect and bring our ideas to life. 

The rationale behind the rebrand was to show how Amplify has grown and evolved since its inception. The fresh new color pops perfectly on paper and digital screens, making the logo stand out, but without losing the identity that our clients, partners, and colleagues have come to love over the last decade. The typography has been designed to reflect and stand out in the new digital world, where online marketing platforms are more important than ever. Amplify was originally launched in 2008…. two years before Instagram. At that time Mark Zuckerberg was that odd Facebook friend that you didn’t add?! Apps were in their infancy and launched an entirely new industry and platform.

Amplify is excited to announce the launch of the VSPINK Nation app for Alshaya group. 

Amplify designed and built the app alongside the brand team to allow VSPINK fans to explore exclusive offers, content, and play branded games that allow them to build loyalty points and win prizes. 

The app built in React native is available on both the Apple store and Playstore in the UAE and is due to launch in other GCC countries over the next few months. 

The project is Alshayas’ first retail app developed outside of the organization and is already gaining traction and downloads from excited fans. The app allows the consumer to purchase fast and efficiently from their mobile device.

Following our Eshot campaign for a special offer on Branding and Website Design, we were approached by an existing company who were looking for a complete rebrand and new website. One of our client account manager’s arranged an appointment at our studio to discuss the brief and clients requirements.

The client was keen to attract a broader range of clients and wanted to create a bold, fresh, flat, modern and iconic logo and look and feel to their brand. Our studio designers created a variety of logo concept designs which were presented to the client along with a rationale as to why we had chosen the font and colour scheme.

Once the logo designs and branding had been finalised, our in-house web designer created a site map for the new website. Various meetings were arranged with the client throughout the process to share ideas and feedback. Our design team also created a range of corporate stationary items and office branding, the client was thrilled with the end product…
