Spotify is on a global growth plan and wanted to develop an internal communications application with wayfinding and room scheduling facilities.

WAYFINDER

Using an Appspace API, Amplify built a 3D interactive way-finder app that allowed users to find a room and book the room and view it 360. The user could also see aggregated social media posts. 

THE RESULTS

The interactive pilot is currently being tested in Sweden and is planned to roll out globally later in 2020.

Victoria Secret App

VICTORIA'S SECRET - APP

THE PROBLEM

Victoria’s Secret consumers were buying bras online, without a fitting, meaning they were not getting the support and comfort they needed. 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra – Victoria’s Secret sought to help their consumers in the Middle East and ensure they were getting the support and comfort they required to help prevent any long term health problems.

THE APP

Amplify built an application to allow Victoria’s Secret users to take a questionnaire on the style, fit and type of bra to best suit their size and fit. The app allows the user to save their personalised data and book an in-store one-to-one Bra-Fit appointment with a Bra-Fit expert, at their local Victoria’s Secret store. The app includes a digital magazine of all Victoria Secret products, special offers and promotions, dedicated to the user’s preferences and buying history.

THE RESULTS

The application was first launched in the United Arab Emirates and later rolled out to the MENA region. The app was deployed to both Google Play Android and Apple App Stores. The app is helping to drive online traffic into Victoria’s Secret stores by encouraging Bra-Fit appointments, as well as rewarding customers for their loyalty. Beta launch – due September 2020

Amplify had created a landing page that’s relevant to the product containing all information, influencer section, where to buy, and a competition section to engage visitors.

The landing was also designed and optimized to maximize it’s relevancy to the product increasing its Google Ads’ Quality Score thus lowering its CPC.

AMPLIFY BUILDS AND LAUNCHES THE NEW VICTORIA SECRET – PINK NATION APP

Amplify is excited to announce the launch of the VSPINK Nation app for Alshaya group. 

Amplify designed and built the app alongside the brand team to allow VSPINK fans to explore exclusive offers, content, and play branded games that allow them to build loyalty points and win prizes. 

The app built in React native is available on both the Apple store and Playstore in the UAE and is due to launch in other GCC countries over the next few months. 

The project is Alshayas’ first retail app developed outside of the organization and is already gaining traction and downloads from excited fans. The app allows the consumer to purchase fast and efficiently from their mobile device.

A BRIGHT POSITIVE NEW LOOK FOR AMPLIFY IN 2020 TO OUTSHINE THE TROUBLES

What a year 2020 has been so far! This year will be remembered in history for the unprecedented events of a global pandemic. It meant for the first time in our history we had to implement full-time remote working for our team, ensuring the situation did not affect our ability to deliver projects and we were able to support our clients at a time when they needed us the most. 

Time away from the office gave us an opportunity to reflect on the past twelve years, how much we have grown as individuals and as a team and how marketing and the digital landscape has changed significantly (even more so than ever in 2020). Our key objective was to make sure that when we returned back to the office, we came back with a bang! Prior to the lockdown, we had moved to a studio in the heart of Dubai Marina / JLT with beautiful panoramic views of the city including the prestigious 7* Hotel, Burj Al Arab. We had originally planned to mark the occasion with a brand refresh to communicate some of our new services, recent projects, and 12 years of success in the market, so used this time as a great opportunity to reflect and bring our ideas to life. 

The rationale behind the rebrand was to show how Amplify has grown and evolved since its inception. The fresh new color pops perfectly on paper and digital screens, making the logo stand out, but without losing the identity that our clients, partners, and colleagues have come to love over the last decade. The typography has been designed to reflect and stand out in the new digital world, where online marketing platforms are more important than ever. Amplify was originally launched in 2008…. two years before Instagram. At that time Mark Zuckerberg was that odd Facebook friend that you didn’t add?! Apps were in their infancy and launched an entirely new industry and platform.

Amplify created static and dynamic off-page targeted adverts for FIJI water ME. The adverts were focused around generating awareness of the brand values and promotions. The content was created with a clear call to action, with a KPI of driving traffic to a landing page and or Retail commerce store.

Amplify used Facebook, Instagram and a network of fashion, food and healthy living influencers to grow the brand’s social followers. In the first 6 months that Amplify has managed the FIJI Water ME Instagram page, we have increased page impressions by 100%, achieving 1.5M impressions, we have also reached 1.3 million people, a 100% increase and increased the average engagement rate per post by 102.17%.

Radian – 360 Marketing Campaign

THE PROBLEM

Stada Pharmaceutical approached Amplify Marketing to develop a 360-degree strategy to launch their muscle and pain relief Radian product range into the Middle Eastern market.

THE SOLUTION

Amplify conducted the 5D Methodology to identify the brands’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. We developed a 360-degree marketing strategy to increase awareness, engagement, education and drive sales.
Amplify identified during the Discovery phase that customers needed educating on when to use the heat (before exercise) and ice (after exercise) products. The Discovery phase highlighted that the dated packaging did not appeal to the younger, fitness audience that Radian wished to target. As the packaging can not be changed, Amplify developed a key visual that modernised the brand and increased the desire to use.
Amplify created content, manage and publish Radian social media content across the Middle East. We utilized the Instagram grid to educate on how and when to use the products.
We designed and developed a localised UAE website to A/B test to the markets different audiences.
Amplify have created 3D models of the Radian products, as well as in-store merchandising POS.
We developed the concept for Radian’s beach hut sponsorship of the 2019 Dubai Fitness Challenge with a pre-workout area for warm-up (Radian Heat) and a post-workout area (Radian Ice). To encourage people to engage with the brand and reward them for doing so, Amplify created a spin the wheel game to allow participants to win prizes.
Amplify organised and managed the sponsorship of the Radian Dragon’s Football club, who compete weekly in the Dubai Amateur Football League. The players wear Radian sponsored kit and receive Radian products, in exchange for social media user-generated content.

THE RESULTS

The Radian Arabia Facebook page has grown to over 76,000-page likes, generated a 60% increase in page impressions and received a 158% increase in post likes. The Instagram page has achieved over 1 million impressions in the first 4 months and over 13,000 profile views.
